sure;
i use GI for all renders.
for day light i use either a quality daylight HDRI or vraysun. then i add a direct light to imitate the sunlight. while vrysun/hdri illuminates the surroundings, direct light casts natural shadows.
for night renders i use a night HDRI or vraysun with a dim settings so it becomes "vraymoon" and then i use specisific omnis or vray lights to imitate artificial light (i am not really good at it yet).
Fantastic m8! Could you help me please? Im having trouble with my exterior scenes reflections. They look wrong or are too big or too small(tiled strangely or nearly black). Could you give your settings for vray environment and the max environment and perhaps an HDRI to test it out (what are the settings in the materialeditors slot of the HDRI?) Where can I get really good HDRI that has a resolution over 3000x2000? I will be very greatful
